Protein Fire

This invisible film of soot created from this type of fire is the most difficult to clean. You may think that since there is no visible residue that the odor will just go away. However, this type of loss is the hardest to get rid of the odor. We will use several types of deodorization methods: Ozone Machines, Thermal Fogging, Odorox Hydroxyl Generator and Hepa filtering to clear the air. These are just some of the methods we use.

Puff Back Fire

Puff back occur from a furnace or other heating unit, usually caused by the fast ignition of built-up gas or oil vapors inside the combustion chamber. The resulting smoky soot and fumes puffs back into your structure through the ducts and other openings in HVAC equipment. Often the force of the explosion vibrates the duct system, loosening accumulations of soil that are blown out by the circulating air throughout your home.

Puff backs will be treated and evaluated as fire damage since soot has been left on the structure and contents. Shut off the entire heating and cooling unit in your home, until it has been repaired and cleaned. This is just a part of what we will do to your home after a fire or smoke loss.
